Thank you for visiting the general website for the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute (the "Site"). The Sargent Shriver Peace Institute's home page is located at www.sargentshriver.org. This Site and its contents are owned by the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute, a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization chartered in the District of Columbia.

By using the Site you signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use. The Sargent Shriver Peace Institute reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time without further notice. The changes will be posted on this Terms and Conditions of Use page and the last revision date will be updated.

The Mission of the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute

The three-pronged mission of the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute is to:

--To enhance public awareness and knowledge of Sargent Shriver as a public servant and master peace builder;

--To advance critical and applied thinking about the method of peace building employed by Sargent Shriver in his many peace building endeavors, with special attention to the political, moral, and spiritual foundations of his approach; and

--To foster the development of a framework for collaborative creativity that will help peace builders to respond constructively and effectively to the conflicts and challenges facing America and the world today.

Online Privacy Statement & Information You Voluntarily Submit to the Site

Please review our Online Privacy Policy, which is part of the Terms and Conditions of Use Policy, and describes how we handle any personally identifying information about Site users, including information you voluntarily submit to the Site. By providing such information, you hereby acknowledge and agree to the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute's treatment of such information as described in the Online Privacy Policy.

The Sargent Shriver Peace Institute may in its sole discretion decide whether or not to use a submission. The Sargent Shriver Peace Institute is hereby licensed to edit, change and remove all content posted to the Site.

not post or make available any material that contains software viruses or any other

programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer

Termination

The Sargent Shriver Peace Institute may terminate your Site access, delete your profile and/or remove any content or information that you have posted (without notice) that in the sole judgment of the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute violates the Terms and Conditions of Use or that might violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of others, or for other reasons which need not be disclosed.
